whats with the influx of new users?

The post count restriction also helps to keep the prying eyes of the popular payment services from seeing the details of raffle payments and gambling debts that are regularly settled through such entities despite their policies. The main one has been known to suspend accounts and freeze money being held there. Damn the Man!
 
Still not sure what this post count accomplishes...maybe it helps the bettors in some way not to get caught by the IRS or Gamblers anonymous.
 
I've been a lurker for years, but only recently made a user name. Now I too have to join the "influx of new users" just to view certain areas of this forums. I agree with the above comment "Damn the Man!"
