Hey Jimmy,

I figure that he reads these and if we mess with him long enough he'll come out of his shell again. Maybe he'll have something to say other than to ***** about the equipment that we are stuck with.

Hmmm...az ranking. Well, I don't know. I am a 38 speed in USPPA. But, EVERYONE (including myself)says I am the most underated player in there. I probably play more like a 60-70. Hey not my fault the system sucks. Won 3 straight tournies and my rating went up a wopping 5 more points. AZ ranking how about 4000. That way I can be the underdog again lol.

I don't need anyone else, I've got you, the one and only JIMBOOOOOOOOOOOO. Oh, BTW, I'm taking myself down quite a few notches, I got whipped in Vegas this weekend. Played like chit. I realized that my game really does suck.

The times I've played in Vegas I couldn't get a game. I mean, most places a few minutes after I start playing someone will come up and ask if I want to play. In Vegas I played by myself for several hours and no one asked? Maybe it's because they assumed I was holding back while practicing and I was using a southwest as a break cue and a 74 eight point palmer as a playing cue?
 
Not sure of my rank, but I sure would like to match up with the whole board for some races to 9 jellybean sets.

For sure I would lose some sets, but I think my batting avg would be in significantly in the black.

I had the same weekend- only on the East Coast. Played like a chump, I did!!:o :(
 
I am an APA 4, strictly 8 ball...never shot APA 9 ball. I consider myself to be a C+ player at best...

Which basically equates out to 90% of the board needs to give me the break and the orange crush ;)

I am sure lots of players on this board would happily play me some, and I would be more than happy to play the ringers, provided it was part of a package deal where I also got a shot at the rest of the AZBers.

Yes, that would be nice! How is the pool scene in Miami? Lots of weeknite tourneys w/ in an hour? PHalls expensive? Do they all have loud rave music:eek: ?
 
I don't know how I stack up. A few weeks ago, someone posted Allen Hopkins rating scale where you shoot ball in hand after the break, and try to run out 9 ball, etc. for 10 racks and see where your score ranks from 0-2000. I did it three times, and scored 1278, 1364, and 1579. I would assume that this would put me in the top 25%???

There are quite a few handicapped 9ball tournys within an hrs drive. Most happen in legitimate pool halls. Time down here usually runs about $10-12 for two folks per hr. I have only heard loud rave music at club and not in the pool halls. There is action in Miami but its mainly one pocket if you are looking to bet higher than $30 or $40 per game.

Man, I hate to tell ya, but my ol" lady knocked Rude Dog and myself out in cut throat more than once. I can honestly say I win at least 75% of the games I play. That means that I rank around # 875 here on the forum.
