What's your favorite place to shoot pool?

To answer the OP: My home. There are several good places to play locally, but I just don't dig the bar/pool hall scene anymore. My kids love it when I throw a Harry Potter movie on in the background on the wall mounted TV in my pool room and then rack up a game.

My son (he's 6) enjoys keeping score on my iphone in a straight pool scoring app (I usually spot him 30 balls in a race to 40, then let him have BIH for every shot). My girls enjoy playing 8B, 9B, and 10B, usually while we have a game of chess going, too. Somehow, I manage to lose both games, but only after making them work.

I will never have a home that doesn't have a pool table. I don't want to have to go anywhere and put up with anything I don't want to. Simple as that.

Locally, Steve's Cue and Grill, Good Timez, and Bumpers are all fine. I would just rather be home.

Same for me, at home. Can't deal with bar smoke and drunks. I have two 8' + tables in the shed along with ping pong, shuffleboard, Foosball, darts, and Golden Tee. No problem finding friends to come over and play.

At some point I will expand to add other fun stuff down the road. Besides I really hate driving anywhere.

Nope, no deal with the owner. I pay table time just like everyone else, as do students of mine when I do lessons there. Now I see where you get your screenname from.

Pressure $7.50 for one player per hour. Friday and Saturday's 9.50 for one per hour. When you can play down the street at Cary's on a 9 ft diamond for free or at Ten Cat for free. Please...

Sounds like someone has a deal with the owner for free table time to give lessons.

Is G-Cue still owned/run by Karabatsos?

Hey, sorryfor the late reply. He ddoesn't own it anymore, but it's still in the family as I guess he originally owned it with another family member. But I guess Tom got bough out. But it's definitely still in the family as I know a number of them
