I believe this would cause the cue to slide down table and break out the 6-7.

As John said, I'd play the 4 and get as parallel on the 5 as possible and then just drag the CB down the rail into the 6/7 while pocketing the 5.
I don't believe you can hit the 6/7 with draw starting with the CB one diamond off the end rail (a 45-degree shot on the 5 into the corner). Maybe somebody will post a video of themselves doing it...?
