What's your thing, other than pool?

I really enjoy photography (I am just an amateur) , reading, music, exercise, boxing, hiking, & movies. Here are some snapshots I've taken. Go easy on me I'm not very good.

Some interesting stuff in here. I will never disagree with anything chris byrne posts. If I did in the past, it was a typo.

1-p-player's pics are quite nice. I like how it's possible to share stuff like that here. On that note, I've been playing guitar for a bit over 2 years.
Here's a lousy quality little wing intro (recorded by dangling a headset from the sound hole, lol):

+1 rofl for vagabond and pharoah.

I see dave and a bunch of others are drummers. Coincidentally today I was learning the song "Everlong" and I stumbled on this youtube video of a wicked drummer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97pgUkT6kvI
had no idea how awesome drumming is, in general. Makes me want to try.

Dave, I've read everything by the authors you listed, I really love all of them. Reading's a big hobby of mine, I used to work through 3 paperbacks a week, now it's like 1. If you want to try something in the same genre that you might otherwise overlook, check out Carol O'Connell. Yes, a woman can pwn as hard as a man at the "tough cop vs. serial killer" books.

I fix computers and build websites for a little dosh on the side.
I'm a noob but here's a random page I did: http://www.porterhousemaine.com/index.htm
Generally I'm a big computer nerd, A+ certified, network savvy, etc.

I'm ok at design and have picked up a ton of knowledge at working with various programs as a result (photoshop, illustrator, indesign, quark, 3D rendering, etc). I know a lot about making signs, vehicle and window graphics, commercial printing, etc.

I used to be a huge video game freak and travel across the country (and to canada) for tournaments in virtua fighter. I also got into the various capcom fighting games and tekken. My name is well known among fans of a goofy little shooting game called Gunbound.

There's other stuff but this is pretty long already.

Helping others solve problems and achieve goals.

Freestyle frisbee on the beach, in ankle deep water, doing diving catches into the surf.

Ferrari. Fast, exotic cars. Horsepower on demand. High speed driving around long sweeping uphill turns, especially on Torrey Pines hill, pulling G's, 3 lanes wide going up.

Doing aerobatics in an open cockpit biplane and flying low and slow over the surf for hundreds of miles then side-slipping for landing on grass in a crosswind at sunset.

Astronomy, philosophy, philanthropy, photography, weather.

Yoga, especially headstands.

Vegetarian cuisine.

Writing.

The sweet serenity of solitude.

A long nap in the warm afternoon sun in my hammock, to the sounds of the surf.

Good friends.

Travel with family, puzzles, softball, soccer, and anything to do with the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics, especially going to the games.
