When did Falcon stop making Predator Cues?

The entire facility in Canada was run by Asians. Most of them were from the plant in Taiwan. Some of them moved here when they opened the operation. Very few of them lost their jobs. So, are you saying the Canadian Asians did better work than the Taiwan Asians? When you cross the ocean, your cuemaking skills increase?

The wood supply came from the exact same location.

No I am saying very clearly, very plainly, and very simply that when the cues were made in Canada they were better quality. I also agree that very few of the employees lost their Job's, many went to work by their own accord for factories in China such as, Kao Kao, and others. So your statement that they are still being built by the same people is not completely correct. As far as which Asians did better work, I personally believe that when operations moved from Canada they lost some of their best employee's to other companies.

2008. After the financial crash. The US dollar tanked vs the Canadian dollar, so Predator had to find a cheaper source to make their cues.

Edit: 2007 was the transition year from Falcon to China.

Another miss information, Predators quality has actually gone way up since moving over seas. The reject rate that they had while Falcon was producing the butts was sky high. The manufacturing plant in China is amazing and the most high tech billiard manufacturing facility on the planet. C4 and the New P3are an amazing feat of manufacturing that no other place could do, not to mention the fact that when they manufacture the shafts they actually measure each triangle for flexibility to give you a truly consistent shaft. Falcon could never have done this.

This is really interesting to learn. I wonder if the Universal line of cues are made in the same factory as Predator. I had a Universal cue around 5 years ago, and it was super nice (inlays appears to be very high quality), and it came with one of their Universal Smart Shafts (that were designed by the maker of Joss West cues, Bill Stroud). That was a really nice hitting cue. I never imagined before that such a great product could come from China.
