When you look at the object ball, What do you see?

I see the contact point. That's what I'm looking at. I try to be very specific and narrow it down to as close to a pinpoint as my focus allows that day.

That's the way I see things also! I draw an imaginary line from the center of the pocket opening to the center of the OB and focus hitting that point.

It's not what I see before pulling the trigger, it's what I have seen before. *Hours of practice and cue ball position. This is not about aiming, aiming is over.*

Re: I see a sphere.

I see a sphere resting on the Simonis at 6:00 with an equator from 3:00 to 9:00.

From above, I see the line from the pocket/target passing through the center of the OB and exiting the OB toward me and the CB.

I see a small colored dot at that exit point.

I observe the distance from the center of the OB to that colored point and I double the distance until I see a larger colored dot in the center of the GB.

I aim the CB at the center of the larger colored dot in the center of the GB....and shoot.

But I digress.:wink::thumbup:

This doesn't work when the Cb and OB are close to each other....outside english helps though.

I use the CTETSPTRPTSOTBB method. Details as follows:

I like to aim by lining up the center of the cue ball to the edge of the object ball, then to the edge of the left side pocket, then to the edge of the right corner pocket, then to a secondary object ball that I will be shooting next, then I line the center of the cue ball to the edge of the buxom blonde in the corner of my eye. Then I focus on the bust of that blonde. Then I focus on the more delicious portions of the blonde. Then I close my eyes and let that majestic image sear itself into my mind. Then, I remember that it's my turn to shoot and then I put the ball in the pocket and then run out.

I really like this method. I think I'll put out a DVD so you fellas can learn all about it...:cool:
