Eat some soup and sober up :) .

Hmmm, the owner at the pool hall I go too gave me a locker.

People say to lean it against the wall, but facing down, as well as hanging off the ground.

The owner of the pool hall I go to has a locked closet where he allows a few players to store their cues. This saves me the trouble of going home to get the cue after work, and you know for sure that there's no way I'll leave my baby in the hot car all day!

either in my closet or near my bed. but either way always inside. i don't leave my cues in the car. you guys with lockers and cool room owners that let you keep your cues there are lucky. even if someone offered i don't think i would do it i don't trust a lot of people that much. no so much the owner but the other people that come in ya know

I wouldn't want to keep my cue in a locker since, I play at a handful of different pool rooms. I keep it in my room. If I am playing afterwork, I just bring it to work.

well id rather not keep in a locker cuz im all over town sometimes,i have seen peop stand there case at a slight angle and thats mostly what i do but does it matter if joints are facing up like mine or down?? ive heard bad stories of break ins and getting there cues stolen ,maybe a gun rifle safe might help lol...

I keep mine in the case leaning against the wall by my table. I hope if someone breaks in, it will be one of the last things they will steal. We don't get alot of break-ins in our small town though. Plus, my Homeowners would cover it and get me a nice new custom!

I keep my nice cues in the cases in my gun safe standing up, joints facing upward. :)

Storing cue ....

Mine is stored in the closet off my living room with winter coats. I never leave my place unlocked, and it goes with me to the poolrooms, and back again. I usually don't leave my cue in the car except if I happen to stop at a friend's house on the way home for a few minutes, and never in real cold weather.

Well since you asked...

My two cues I play with are always in their case in the back seat of my car!!!! and before I get those "your gonna get a warped shaft crap!" One of them is a D15 Mcdermott that Ive owned since 1985 with the original STRAIGHT as an arrow shaft! ...
My other 12 Cues are in my Theater and Game room in a closet built for them!:D

My cue is laying on my table at home, rolled under one of the long-rail cushions, with all the balls in pockets 'cause the cats will sometimes play and I don't want more dings in the cue.

In tube cases, with snug tubes so the cues are somewhat suspended (like they were hanging on a string). The cases are standing upright in a locked closet built for them. In the future I plan to get a gun safe for them.

Gun safes are the way to go, not only do I keep the Guns, Knifes & Cues in it, but my wife uses the drawers for her Jewlery. And it is a great place to store important papers, like insurance, car titles etc etc.:)

ok all signs point to gun safe i thought it might be overkill but it makes sense ,home owners insur would pay for things but how would i prove its a 400$ cue and not a 50$ cue lol

The thing you have to realize is that the people suggesting a gun safe have several cues often worth several thousand dollars each. If you've only got a couple thousand in equipment or less and nothing that's not easily replaceable then your closet is fine!

My Guns are worth way more than my cues. I just like to lock everything up when we go away for a few days. I also have a home alarm system and roll down shutters on the slider doors. We have armed security where we live also. Nothing has ever happened, I like to keep it that way.:)
