Where does Mike Dechaine rank

Very good:) you got me! Your right, I'm wrong! Sorry Mr. Dechaine, your truly one the greatest players ever! Please forgive me, I totally forgot that races to 9 show a players greatness! Again, I totally forgot that the only game is 9-ball and that truly is the test of how great a player is! Again, I'm sorry!

his 10b game ain't too shabby either. ;)

best,
brian kc

Sorry Brian, I kinda felt that you would go to the states with the fewest people/players, great move.

Why just ND, and not SD?

In case you missed it.

okay, let's start.

ME, NH, RI, NJ, DE, NM, ND, MT, & WY.

who will Mike be playing, where, when, and for how much?

best,
brian kc

Shane, Corey, Earl, Johnny, Rodney Morris all hands down better than him. Maybe not as far apart as SVB and Dechaine but they all still are. Probably even more that I am just forgetting about. That is based solely off rotation games. I like to base players off an all around basis and I put Dechaine FARRRRR down the list after that. He can't play anything other than rotation games.
And he rarely wins outside the NE ,, I predict inside 2 years Justin and Skylar will be better players with Billy thorp right behind them

Shane is well above Mike, and Shane is well above every other American player, too, in rotation games.

Mike is an extremely dominant nine/ten ball player in the Northeast United Sates, and, in the last couple of years other Northeast players like Earl Strickland, Jayson Shaw, Jeremy Sossei, and Dennis Hatch rarely win events in which Mike participates.

In my opinion, other than Shane, there are just two American players that don't need weight from Mike. That would be Johnny Archer and Rodney Morris.

.... but, as an all-around player, Mike is a little below Justin Bergman, Corey Deuel, Justin Hall, and John Schmidt.

On a tight table Johnny would destroy mike dechaine.ina long race

Reading thru this thread and this strikes me as odd why would Johnny only destroy Mike on a tight table in a long race? If he's better than him wouldn't he beat him on a barbox, 8', 9', 10', etc. Long race or short race. Maybe if you want to say in more than one set.

I'm sure if Johnny thought he'd destroy Mike, he could go up to Mike's home room and rob everyone.

While I've heard plenty of stories about Mike being cocky, I haven't heard any about people making big scores off him.

Why in the world would he want to play , he has nothing to prove ,, Mike is light yrs away from Johnny's accomplishments

I was watching him and Jeremy Sossei on stream yesterday. Dechaine's rack checking is ridiculous and way out of hand.

That is the nature of 9 ball... The break is so important he can't take it lightly. He's not breaking any rules, this is what the game is.

Pool players don't gamble because of accomplishments. The way the OP i quoted talked is that Johnny would be stealing against Mike.

Johnny is a smart guy. He was smart enough after running 13 against Bustamante and D'jango said double the bet he declined.

I think the original boasting by the guy I quoted is saying "hey my guy won't lose on a gaff table" but under tourney conditions or gambling I don't think Johnny is stealing unless its on a gaffed table.

Accomplishments are PAST things. Right now they play even & if Mikes break is on like it was last weekend Johnny isn't going to like it.

Why is everyone so worried about MD, where he ranks, etc? Should we start a thread about every player?
