Where is Russian Kenny?

He's still here in the SE Pennsylvania suburbs outside of Philly. APA, TAP, bar leagues.

Seen dude go flat broke shooting the behind the back spot shot with my buddy Ryan. He basically challenged anybody there to play his game alternating spot shots from the jaws of the upper corner pockets. If one made it, the other had to match it or loose the bet. Then they switched the shooting order and alternate to other pocket. He lost about 8 k at 400 to 600 a shot. It became readily apparent the Russian couldn't win. ...he was the only one that couldn't see it. A poolof 5 of us on the rail were betting against him. This was 4 or 5 years back at SBE....good times.

Come to think of it I never really see him win much...but he plays strong. He missed his calling as a carnival barker...

I was there and saw all that. Fun to watch.

He was at the Derby.

Played Durbin a variation of 1 ball one pocket. One of the most entertaining matches I watched all week. Kenny was his typical self... Aggressive, threatening, and finally stiffing.

They have a term for those that actually have the "skills" to win, but end up on the losing side most of the time ;)

That funny considering Durbin still owes me money from the year 2000. LOL

very funny durbin story from DCC.

A buddy of mine walks up to durbin and says "hey Eric, you got that 100 you owe me" Eric says "I haven't forgotten, I am working on it, may have it when my backer gets here"

Funny part is, he never owed my buddy money. I guess you finally lose track of who all you owe, so you just have to take everyones word for it. lol

Russian Kenny bummed 100 off me after he lost in the behind the back spot shot masacre. I called him for a few months trying to get it.....finally just told him he is trash and said to take his wife to dinner on me and buy his kid a pair of shoes. Anytime I see him crying for action I tell him I'll bet the 100 and we can go from there...he just scowls.

Kenny played Scott Simonetti (from The Hustlers) about two years ago. I had a few bucks in with Scott. Scott busted him like I knew he would and without fail, Kenny asked to borrow some money back to get home with one of his sob stories... Scotty is a good guy and gave him a grand back. As expected, we never got that money back. Par for the course. That's pool.
