where to buy quality maple shafts

First compare rates on Google. Prices vary with custom made shafts. Find out which suits best for your cue.

I second the steve klapp idea. His 140 year OG shafts are top notch. AAAA I do believe.

Whatever you decide, Don't buy anything from Joe Barringer.
His shafts may be O.K. but this guy has no business being in a business that requires customer service.

Keith Josey also does what he calls "timeless timber" shafts...old growth ring.

Will you be going to Super Billiards Expo? In past years I've seen vendors selling shaft wood, and people picking through the piles.

I buy a lot from Joe
He has always treated me well.
I think Joe is one of the rare guys out there that says what he thinks and doesn't really care what other people think about it.
If you treat him with respect, he returns the favour.
And he has very consistent quality, fair prices
And you get what you pay for.

those old growth/straight grain shafts have some good feedback on and off the table.
You might find him at the expo with come cues and shafts for sale but I believe most of them are spoken for, give him a call' he might have something for you.

Sorry, the cue he's making me is NOT FOR SALE.
