Where is the best place to play in the columbus area. I know he's in CA this weekend but,I've heard Cory Deuel plays somewhere in or around Columbus. I'm going to be near Columbus saturday night. thanks-jeff

Well Jeff, i've got some good news and some bad news. The good news is there are three great pool halls to play at in Columbus. The first is Cornfed Reds at the corner of chatterton drive and noe bixby. Thats where Cory used to play out of about 6 years ago (I used to work there). The second pool hall is Players which is on east main street in Whitehall (about 2 minutes from Columbus). And the third is Sportsmens on Sullivant Avenue on the west side of columbus, the other two are on the east side. Sportsmens is where Cory usually plays when he's in town, but he recently moved to Florida. Now the bad news, Sportsmens is holding the Midwest Points Tour tournament all day Saturday and Cornfed Reds is holding the Viking Tour all weekend (pro event on saturday and amatuer event on sunday). So if you're looking just to shoot, table will be limited at both places, but if you're looking for action, i'm sure it wont be hard to find. Just depends on what you're looking for this weekend bud. Let me know if i can help and i hope you enjoy your trip to Columbus. By the way, i'll be at both tournaments, going back and forth, so maybe we'll meet up.

We just got back from the Midwest Points Tour last night that was my first time at the Sportsmens. It's a very nice pool room, met Jerry the owner he's a real nice guy. I'll agree there was some action down there Dee was there T-Town Timmy was there, we had a good time. Parking is a little rough but that was our only problem. LOVED that they have two billiard tables since we no longer have any up here.
