Where to play in North Jersey and New York City ?

Traveling to North Jersey and New York City area next month, need recommendations on places to play, maybe some actions too. Non-smoking preferred.

It's all non smoking here. In NYC, if your looking for action, Skyline (brooklyn) or Master Billiards (queens) are the spots to go. If you want a nice place with nice tables, Amsterdam & Society are both close to each other in Manhattan.

In Jersey, that I know of, Sandcastle seems like the action spot.

go to Master Billiards...ask for Mhet..he's always looking for action any day of the week.

On the NJ side of the river, Castle Billiards in Rutherford is a nice spot. Not sure about the action, but you could probably find some there.
