Where to play on vacay - Pittsburgh, Columbus

Hi all.

Goin on a road trip next week. Someone wanna tell me where's a good place in either Pittsburgh or Columbus? I'm not looking for action, just to play mostly. Well, maybe a little action, but cheap :).

8/17-18 Pittsburgh
8/19 Columbus

I havent been there in a while but Jim Marino had a room in Bridgeville on the edge of Pittsburgh called South Hills Golden Cue. It had an action table with quick rising theater seating that could accomodate 30 sweaters id say.

Jim Marino won the all around at Johnston City btw.

you can always pm chris bartram (real bartram on here). i am pretty sure he is in columbus. and i am sure he would tell you where to play even if you weren't looking to gamble.

Last time I was at Golden Cue, I was told that the action area was being converted into a 3 cushion room and the theater taken out. I don't know if it has happened yet. What part of Pittsburgh will you be visiting? I know a few places in the North Hills, but I do not know about any action b/c I'm not that good.

Damn! Should have known. You can't count on anything just stayin the same!!
 
Players on Main Street in Whitehall (suburb on the East side of Columbus is a good spot). That's where Bartrams Diamond table is at, plus some Gold Crowns....
