Where is he at? He didn't play at the tournament in Vegas, and I noticed he wasn't in the world 10ball championship. Is he playing the asian 9ball tour or something?

Dude, he's down at Guam doing some exhibitions and photo ops. Not sure but I think this is some sponsor related thing.

He's probably making more money there in Guam than traveling and winning a few thousand dollars here in the US. Charlie knew that Efren wouldn't travel to Las Vegas or Fla.

This brings up another question

I have been mulling this around in my head for some time, and I want to ask the question on whether Filapino players play tag with tournaments?

Most are backed by the Puyat group, so is their decisions that take place to send 2-3 members to certain tournaments?

Do the top tier players (Efren, Busta) not get sent to certain tournaments, so that lower tier Filapino players can have a shot at
winning? (Corteza winning All Japan Open)

Sometimes, it seems like a team effort with the Filapino players, much like driving teams in Nascar.

What do you think?

I think you're on to something

alot of them skipped the US open last year which has one of the bigger prize funds of the year, I found that odd

When the IPT had Qualifiers where the top 2 finishers would qualifiy, it seemed like there were only 2 Philipinos that entered each across the Nation - coincidence or intellegence?

Don't worry, if you don't think the different stables discuss this very subject, you are simply naive. And since you brought up the point.....\
Nice out.

Efren has reached the point in life where he can basically "coast". He's not worried about proving anything and "life is good".

If I were in his shoes, I'd buy a condo close to Hefner and charm the babes with my toothless grin.
You don't really think he can afford to live next to Hugh do you? Bob Hefner maybe but definitely not Hugh. I do agree that he can "coast" but he just doesn't seem to me like the "coasting" type. He likes to lose about as much as he likes to wear dentures.
