I'd never really expected to play a shot like this in a match.
But, I like to practice shots like these where you need good control and a good stroke to execute. So, I do practice force-follow shots with different amounts of English/speed/etc.

Yeah, these shots are gravy on new cloth. When the cloth looks like it does in the OP's pic, you may have to put a little bit of a stroke on it and make sure you don't overdo the right hand spin. It's still the right shot on just about any table, IMO.

They never come up if you don't know them.
With that angle on the 6 and the 7 at the other end of the table, or even the middle of the table, you'd never play high outside; your choice would always be low outside vs. high inside. And without the 8 where it is blocking the other corner pocket, you'd never play the 6 and the 7 in the same pocket, so you'd just bunt the 6 in with enough speed to get whatever angle you wanted on the 7. So it's a specific, fairly rare, set of circumstances that gives you a reason to get creative.
But rare though they are, these awkward situations do come up a lot in rotation games, and it does pay to know what's going to happen with the less-usual combinations of follow, draw, and sidespin, because that's what gives you the vocabulary of shots so you can engage your creative mind and choose the right one.

You are doing the same thing you do in a lot of threads that you post in. You pick out 1-2 posts to read and then post dribble responses that makes you look bad. The draw is not an option as the setup is not exactly as the picture he posted. Further down someone posted a video showing the correct layout that Justin Hall ran out using some strong high outside English I believe. Try to keep up.
