which are the latest most popular cue tips?

The Recoil playing tip by Bulletproof Break Tips is an interesting new one. It is synthetic, not leather. I have been using one for a couple of months now and like it.
I've been using the Green Recoil tip for about 9 months now, have no plans on using another tip, plays like the day it was installed with almost zero wear.

the real difference is hard or soft. that makes a tip somewhat of a personal choice. brands and technical ratings are worthless as any tip compresses as it is played. so all tips will get harder as they get older.

as a good player with a mind that doesnt affect his play, then you just get used to the slight changes as tips wear down.
The Recoil tips do not compress, they are not leather, consistent from tip to tip.

When are they going to pay a top pro to tell us all these are the future?
Still a rave review for thoroughbred tips from me.
If Thoroughbred is the tip for you then you should use it, I don't care if a top pro uses a Bulletproof Recoil tip or not, it's simple for me, there are hundreds of variations of leather tips and have been the only type of tip for at least a hundred years, I know people are skeptical about trying a new technology, do you know how I know that? Because I was too, I'm just a guy who loves Billiards, I contacted Bulletproof Billiards several times and asked questions about their tips, they answered every question I had promptly which gave me the confidence to give them a try, I tried at least 6 different leather tips in a year and half before giving the Recoil tip a shot, I'm about 9 months into these tips now, they just work for me, will they work for you? I don't know, you will have to try one for yourself and see, if it doesn't cut it off and continue on your journey to find the right tip for you 😉

Cannot fault the people at Bulletproof. I broke one of their break tips, and they offered me to trial some recoil tips, as well as replacing the tip I split. I just haven't got around to sorting out all the postage stuff :) I'll likely try it at some point, I was just curious why they don't just pay a big name to give them a bash, the longevity of the product alone, would surely see it sell in abundance if a big (ish) name backed them.

I bought a nice stockpile of Thoroughbred tips (on recommendation from a user here) after trying a ton of others. It works. Good feel, low maintenance.
