Which are your favourite quotes from players?

Really hard to beat Jerry Briesath telling Mark Wilson "I want you to take two weeks off and then consider quitting altogether".

Not really a quote, but after that I'd pretty much have to go with everything Joe Rogan said while impersonating Earl.

Fats, to a guy that gambled with another fellow and complained to him about the pockets being to big

'' Bet a little higher. they'll tighten up..''

I've posted it on here before, but I'm 99% sure it was Ronnie Allen on an Accu Stats video... "Nine ball players playing one pocket are like dogs on the freeway. They don't last long."

once i steered crazy bruce quietly into this kid that screwed me who played really terrible and bruce was a shortstop speed.

after a game where the kid made about 4 balls in a row bruce screamed out as load as he could at me saying
" you told me he couldnt make a ball"

played richie florence after two days of busting him out a few times of his big baccarat score. he called up i think it was ronnie and was begging to get more money. of course it was a no and he said

" you dont understand in two days of playing, this guy hasn't been able to draw his cue ball once"

That's hilarious. True story?

yea its true. i stalled with him for two days and he emptied out. he was known to be a big sucker and lose everything he had when he lost.
most played till they were broke when they had a bad game. at least those from the west.
east coast good players would quit right away and ask for a change of the game, or just quit.
it was a trick game that he couldnt win at. after all he was the best in the world at the time.

Vic from Lucky's on Hawthorne was known for beating Richie. Doubt he busted him but he got the 7 ball and bragging rights. Don't know his last name. You probably know the guy.

"Pool is a beautiful game played by ugly people." I'll let you determine which player actually said it. Either way, it's a dandy.

Over thirty years ago, when Steve Mizerak drew a young but already well-decorated Oliver Ortmann in a 14.1 event, I said to Steve "tough draw." Steve's reply, which I'll never forget, was "he didn't draw so good either."
