I started this thread in the main forum. Then i got some reports that the centenials skid less. So the game where I see the most skid is in 14.1. Especially on slow hit cut shots. So I decided To post this here in the 14.1 thread so I could get input from the experts!

Which balls skid the least or play better???

For me the Centennials play much better. Not cause they do, but because I think they do, cause they look better. :)

i prefer the centenials, but for practice puposes i use the measel ball with the centenials.

I like to see the english kick in on break shots so i know if i am hitting my breaks properly or at least how i intended !

I have both Centenials and Aramith Super Pros and I cannot see any difference. I think that they come out of the same factory and are identical in every respect other than looks. I also like the measels cue ball

You're right about that. The Saluc website says the following (in the "about Saluc" section):

As the top of the line, the Super Aramith PRO set distinguishes itself by its beautiful design and numbers and the maximized in-depth vitrification of its More importantly, it is a fully matched professional set, where precise calibration of each ball guarantees maximum consistency within the set. The Super Aramith PRO also exists in the Centennial design produced for Brunswick. (that incomplete sentence is there in the original)

It's just a question of aesthetics vs. price. Centennials cost more and may look prettier, but you shouldn't expect them to play any differently.

I have been hearing that they are made the same but one has a diffrent finish then the other.
