I find this as a very important,so please help if you can.
Also,I would like to know in regards to playability is it better that bumper is in brown or in black color,or in any other color maybe too.
And, the last thing that intriguing me hard enough to post this is does the choice for a wrap do an impact on the stiffnes during shootings.
Thanks

2 threads and love this guy already:wink:.:scratchhead:

im gonna suggest the " rubber baby buggy bumpers", made by hasbro.
They come in 2 colors , diaper Green and Pullups Brown.

What do you think about bumperless bumpers. They are very saught after!!!Don't you think???When I had them for sale, two days I was just erasing messages!
:wink::smile::cool::p;)

Bumbers, as in Bumbershoot? Highly recommended if you're playing in the rain. You will need to protect your cue against warpages.

I have some brown Bumpers that are the same as G Balabushka used on his cues.

Mine are only $399.99 shipped and guaranteed to make your cue play just like one of Georges. The reason as to why they are so expensive. I believe that I got the last box of KU Bumbers from Georges shop. I have no way of proving it but no one can unprove it either.

I use carbon fiber cow hide wraps on my cues. They shoot pretty stiff. I have velcro fasteners in case that I want to change from a black to a brown wrap to match my Bumbers.

You should only use the bumperless bumpers with the rubber pool balls.

The brown ones always play better than the black ones, sometimes.
Try the small size. You can get them from Atlas. Ask for brown rubber baby bumpers.

Tramp, wasn't the Amish folk that started using the Buggy Bumpers?

They would have been black to match the buggies tho.

From my experiences the black ones play superior to the brown ones. I say this because I have never tried the brown ones. The black bumpers give a recoil like you wouldn't believe and they look amazing. When they get dirty you cant tell it, so it is less cleaning on your part.

Now for the wraps on cues. YOU HAVE TO GO WITH THE LINOLEUM WRAPS. All you have to do is go to your local home improvement store and find some. You will need to soak it in epoxy for exactly 21 hours....don't ask why, that is just the way it is.....after it is soaked take the most expensive cue you have and widdle a section for the new wrap out with your favorite pocket knife. They epoxy might dry uneven so there will be lots of trial and error. Happy shooting and good luck on your endeavors.

What you should do is buy a tube of tennis balls. Cut an X in one to use as a bumper and if you need a sleeve cut an X on the opposite side.

Hey, thats a great idea. You could also put one on your shaft. That way if you dropped your cue, it would bounce right back into your hands like a rubber ball.

If you got the lime green tennis ball, you could use it for aiming.

You are correct, sir.
Also, and a lot of folks don't know this, but they would train their horses to let them know if they were hungry. The Amish guy would ask the horse if he would like some oats and the horse would lift up a hind leg and say, "A fewwww."

When the horse wasn't hungry, he would say "Neigh."

If they were German horses, they would say, "Nein".

Which would really confuse the Amish person because he would say, "Nine what"?

Thats a great idea my friends will be so jealous. I could probably get at least $50 for one of these.
