Which Center Drill?

What is the most commonly used center drill size for cue making? I had a piece come loose when machining on a CNC and not sure if I failed to tighten the piece enough or if the center managed to blow out some.

I use a #00 all the way up to a #6.
Depends on what I'm drilling the center for.
I've cut 1.5 squares to round between centers with a #00 on both ends with minimal pressure and have never had problem.
I suspect you may have forgotten to snug something up.

I've had this happen too once or twice, it's a terrible way to lose a cue.

Why not just use a carbide 60* bit?
