which state wins?

From a recent thread, i would have to say that Washington (State ;) ) should have an interesting time of it as they apparently are the only bangers that play in bars anymore on an 8'. I know that some have said that the closer confines result in issues that a 'large table' player cannot readily handle, but damn... freeze me to a rail and make me shoot only 7' down table vs. 8' and we should see how our state does ( btw... my first three break and runs came on a 7' at Tacoma's "MALARKEY'S" and didn't come on an 8' until 1 1/2 sessions of league play on 8')

I'd still take NC over any state .....florida is pretty strong .Why does it need to be a bar box ?
 
Having qualifiers to be on the team would ruin it. Part of team play is knowing a getting along good with your teammates.

If you took the five best players from every state and put them on a team, you might not get through a tournament without fistfights.
 
I'm with Zim. This is a great idea and should be something the pool world seriously considers. We have to think and act on greater scales than we have in the past. The rest of the competitive games are leaving us in the dust.
