That's the first I've heard of that. What do you mean exactly?WesleyW said:I started with wood, I didn't think it was really special, it's quite normal. The first time I picked up a linen wrap, it feels great. So, I bought a cue with linen wrap. Played a few times, but the linen wrap is really slick, too slick for me. I can't get a good grip of my cue. I also played a few times with a used linen grip. It feels wet and dirty, don't like it at all. So I went back to no wrap. Plays great and still like it. After a while, I want to buy a new cue. Saw one with a smooth leather grip, good grip, so I ordered one. I think, a smooth leather grip is the best you can get. I've played with a stack leather grip, but don't like it. Feels a bit like cloth.

The only problem I have with them is I'm always checking where my grip hand is because I could not tell by feel where it was the way I could with a linen or leather wrap. Part of my grip is on the wrap and part on the butt sleeve so I always know by feel where it is. But that's just me.

I've played with linen, leather, & lizard wrapped cues all of my life and I got a chance to play with a friend's cue which was a wrapless cue and I found out what i've been missing all these years. I bought a wrapless cue not long after getting a chance to play with one and I really like the feel of a wrapless cue. It's my new favorite cue design.BPG24 said:After having several of each, I strongly prefer wrapless or lizard. Nothing els will do

of an exotic. If you want more info just check into my website.
