This is good news. Chris and his staff put on a great event.

I will be there the week before for the Fast Eddies event and might just stay over for the following weekend.
 
I hope to make this one...spread the word over there about my monthly bar box tournament ...would love to have all of you out...I need to find a horse to take to this event...hmmmm....

you got that right!!! those guys are crazy and will bet it up!! action is always good--the last tournament had games with bets from $50.00 a set to $4000.00!!! glad to hear your coming!! see you in november!! ashley

You run this event real well. So many players, but it ran so smoothly.

This is the one of the best tournaments in the country. It has everything you can ask for at a tournament great food, awesome calcutta, great staff who runs it, and plenty of people who actually gamble not steal. If you like to bet on the side like me and buy people in the calcutta this is as good as it gets folks. Actually I hope all these champions miss this tournament like they have in the past so they can just throw up after they post the payouts of what they could of won. No Thanksgiving with my family I will be in Lafayette! (my wife will love that idea lol.)
 
I was at the last tourney on the Saturday and never seen a poolhall so packed in my life!!!! Sadly I played like a donky and didnt do anything worth saying hehe.

I hope to be at this one. Pending how my game is I might play but more than likely I'll jsut sit on the rail. Hopefully no tourneys pop out the woodworks in texas on that weekend!

You think you screwed up?

I had been married exactly one week and as we were heading back to Texas from Arkansas, I talked my wife into going to this this tournament. I even told her I would win it for her as a wedding present.

To make it short, I won a couple of matches and then got beat by two guys who couldn't run out if you had opened every door in the building. She was really impressed.

The only saving factor was going to that new casino in Lake Charles on Sunday and I won about $2000. Good thing she was there or it would have been less.

Not to worry, I'll be back in November as it is a fun event. I still can't get over how well run it was. They do one hell of a job.
 
hehe if i ran more than 3 balls I was lucky!!! I dont know if it was nerves from jsut a huge tourney or what but I played Very bad!

Iron whats ya name. possible I might remember ya......... I was with 2 lil short guys. Jeremy bellard and Robley Fontenot.....
 
All depends on how many players..........Last time there were like 117 players and it was done sunday night....
