any reviews on it among those who tried it here? i'm having one installed in a new J/B cue i'm having made. any input would be appreciated.
thanks.
thanks.

I have put the same white diamond on a sladgehammer 5 times with Loctite rubberized gel, west systems epoxy and both color gorillo glues and with a slight miss hit the tip slings half way across the room. I think I solved the problem this time as it's been on 2 months, I put on a black phenolic ferrule and made a crater to inset the WD tip into and epoxied w/pressure for 24 hrs. It of course is slightly (very slightly) larger than the outside of the tip but it was worth it cause it breaks real good. By the way I have 4 J@J J/Breaks on the way from Koinkidd cause they break so good with whatever tip they come with. I also just bought a OB partial breakshaft with a samsara break tip but havent had time to cut joint threads in it to see how good they break. What glues have the other posters to this thread been using on the second version of the white diamond.--Leonard

Why not turn a .250 or so tenon on the back of the ferrule about half of the thickness of the tip and bore a similar size hole in the front of the ferrule and inset the tip into this. That makes for strong and perfectly symmetric, flush fit I often use metal-lox or JB Weld when I have a difficult time with a extremely hard break tip.

Hey man, what's up ? You will find it very nice, I am sure. I have tested a lot of break tips and WD is in the top 3 for sure. You will like the control and spin that you can put on the jump shots. However the performance is influenced by the cue construction and materials. I had problems with them popping of from a capped phenolic ferule. Those installed on white ferules stayed there. Glue used was Loctite Gel and I scratched a little bit the tip so the glue holds. I had problems with G10 instead. Finally I have found one industrial glue shock resistant with accelerator ( gel on the tip and spray on the ferule) that is holding like crazy.
