White G-10 vs Black G-10 pin

Is there any difference between white and black g-10 pins? specifically for Cogs?

> In all honesty,the color of the material makes NO difference. The earlier ones had the whitish/slightly green version. All the cues he's made since his hiatus have been black.

His is also a bigger pin than most,7/16-11 with a wide flat on the major diameter. Tommy D.

Probably no difference. Has anyone had problems with the edges of the threads chipping, not specifically on Cogs but any cue with a g-10 pin.
