Usually, white on white in a cue *is* a bit of a crime. As most of the cue enthusiasts know, light colored material against light colored material is tough to do cleanly without showing (bad) glue lines.
I try and push the limits on this sort of thing for a challenge. I have done this ring design before, but this might be my best results yet. The white is juma. The black in the slotted ring is ebony. This is the joint of the shaft. The butt has the same ringwork throughout, including the additional rings for a segmented handle. The cue is going to Wild8Bill9.
Also...the glue used was West System 105/207 (not even the clear formula)...no white tinting. Pic is taken straight off the router.
