These cases are just awesome for storage - they truly are light !

you can pick up a full loaded case from the top handle with absolutely no strain ...

here are the ones i just rec'd from joe ...

oh, and most importantly - they stand dead straight - empty or fully loaded

comes with all the studs to adjust your shaft height for easy access should they have odd sized joint protectors or none at all ...

Kam, you always have something to impress everyone... great looking cases! :grin-square:

The pics overlooking the city scape make me woozzzy. I am getting vertigo as I type. Nice case though.

Kam, Those are some nice cases. The view from your room is awesome. See you soon, we need to look at some new toys.

Thanx,

Nice cases, not to change the subject but how did your cue storage situation go with that safe company? Many say that the best way to store cues is horizontal, with the emphasis of these cases standing straight up and your last diagram of a safe interior design, I would think that you were planning to have the cues stored vertically inside the case. Just curious.

the safe is under construction...

it will be a vertical set-up... most of the feedback i got was that pro vertical so that is what i opted for...

the only horizontal cases i have are the Zero Halliburton ones ...

or if you prefer the night view .......

notice that the last builing on the right in the day shot continues as the first building on the left in the night shot ( match off the building logos on top )

Kam,

I have two of these 4x8 Whittens, and am in love with them. I built mine with pouches, handle, strap, top handle, etc. and really, really like them. They are so light I often think I have forgotten a cue somewhere. Lighter than most other cue cases in 2x4!

Thanks for sharing!

hi will,

i have to agree with you, it's hard to believe the cues are even in the case when you hoist it up - one would presume with the lighter weight, protection might be compromised but not so !

these really get the job done ..

i actually ordered these just to store cues in hence the lack of straps and pouches but now i am sorely tempted to order some more ...

got a 2 x 4 for a friend in the same shipment and that thing was virtually weightless ! it had all the bells and whistles - she picked it up, took it home and filled it up and flew to shanghai with it the same afternoon

quite amazing - they have really got a great product with this "lite" range ...

take care,
kam

hey kam!
so we all got a free place to stay when we're in HK!?
hot damn! that place is kinda pricey!
nice whittens! havent had a 4x8

i wish :(

hong kong land prices are insane - mine is small apartment. about 1,150 sq feet and prices here are about US$1,300 per foot so.....

and at that price, guest rooms are truly a luxury - my apologies :o

hopefully, one day .....

but i promise when you do come, you will have great wine, coffee, cigars and of course, company :D

oh, and i've got the whole tour guide thing down pat !!

give me a call when you come : + 852 902 171 97

Kam,

Exceptional pictures showing some great cases and an even more desirable sight... I have a Whitten (will have two soon) so what's left is visiting Hong Kong :)

Hope you are doing well,
Yours,
David

P.S.: my Dad has been there a few times and I am just amazed looking at the pictures that he took - incredible! I don't know if you have seen this or not but here is a short film of Discovery channel showing Hong Kong sometimes - especially after 2:30. If you ever come to Budapest, let me know - I know it is freeking far but if fate makes you come here, let me know :) 0036304811681

WOW those are the exact types of cases I need for long term storage!

Didn't see this posted --- where can I get these from? Order direct from Whitten?

Also, noticed you stored the shafts with the tips up --- never did this before, but makes sense now, so that gravity doesn't do some damage on the tip shape, yes?

Wow really like those cases!
