Who are the top five players in your state?

Best players in your state

 Jamie Farell , Scotty Townsend, Gary Abouud, Eddie Brown, Mike Black, close - Kid Chris, Derek Fontenot, Joe McNamara, Chris Miller, Preston Granger, Glen Robin ;)

The way Charlie Bryant and Little Al have been winning just about everything around here, those 2 are 4 sure stroking the ball.
Back pocket, ur list is rite on, I would proably leave David and Gilbert out and leave the rest.

The more that I think about, I don't think Wyoming, Montana, North & South Dakota, Arkansas, Alabama Vermont, Maine, Iowa, Utah, Idaho, New Hampshire and Mississippi HAVE a Top 5 Players..

Iowa and the Dakotas have some very good players. Scott Frost is from Iowa.

Texas: ( Not in any particular skill order )
Jeremy Jones
David Guitierez
Dick Lane
Bob Vanover
John Drew
CJ Wiley
Roger Griffis
David Henson
Gilbert Martinez
Paul Guernsey
and scores more ...
John

British Columbia, Canada:
In no particular order, actually John Horsfall is on top.

John Horsfall
Mike Vidas
Brady Gollan
Paul Pautier
Stan Torengeau

And Close seconds, Allen Ima, Simon Pickering, and Charlie Brown.

As good as Frenchy is i don't really like how he plays the game.

How could you leave off Cliff Joyner? He is only the best (maybe second best)one pocket players in the country! IMHO

You're right ..
Cliff Joyner
Lil Al Mason ..
and .. as I said .. scores more
John

I'm too much of a newbie to make a list, but I'm hoping somebody will give us a Minnesota top 5.

I will nominate Jimmy Wetch. :D

Not sure where they all stand:

Glenn Atwell
Dan Loiue
Rich Geiler
John (JD) Dougerty
Mike Zimmerman
Kris Iverson
etc..

Can't think of em now. Possibly some by Spokane.

Ohio

Corey Duell (Even though he is rarely here)
Shawn Putnam
Eric Durbin
Steve McAnnich
Troy Frank (may have relocated to the south)

Young Jason Miller from Dayton won the banks division at Derby. So you need to give him a nod as an up-and-comer.

Also Joe Brown from Dayton plays pretty strong.

Florida:
Buddy Hall
Mike Sigel
Nick Varner
John Schmidt
Tied for 5th:
Charlie Williams
Tony Crosby
Ray Martin
Richie Richeson
Honorable Mention:
Steve Mizerak

Florida, the HALL OF FAME state house's too much talent. Just from the HOF list Varner, Sigel, Mizerak, Martin and Hall...pretty sporty, huh?

Voodoo~~~will not mention the non-mentioned to preserve the "No-Knock" rule I live by ;)

Must agree with you Wally, I don't think any of those Ohio guys have to like their action with Jason. He has been a champion for quite some time, just does not travel too much. Joe B. is also very tough as well as Frank Ruby.
Then you got Tommy Stepenson who has a fantastic game, just not too much in the "Heart" department. Any of the guys I mentioned can take any of the listed top 5 on a given day. Don't forget Dee Adkins too.. So many to pick from..
Gotta love it!

There are some excellent players in Wyoming, Montana, Utah and South Dakota, especially on the bar boxes. These players can compete with the best in the country in this format. :)

Ouch... Well, regarding NH, I could certainly make a list of 5, but they wouldn't exactly be household names :) :) NH can lay at least partial claim to one pretty good shortstop, though lessor known, partly because he likes to stay a little below the radar  , but a darn good player none-the-less. (That would be Gary Abood, aka Gary Frazier)
Maybe players like NH because they can be big fish in a small pond :) :)

There are some excellent players from SD. Lee Heuwagen is from SD. I can think of a few other players that can give some of the other players mentioned a run for their money.

Anyone care to share California's top five?
I imagine SactownTom could, since half of them play out of or pass through 'his' room :)

I'll start anyway,
Jose Parica
Amar Kang
Tony Chohan

here in ga we have some really good players...but one i want to speak of is THE GREAT horace harper.....at least he claims to be....maybe in his day he was a great player but now he is really a pathetic old man......he tells everyone he was a world champion....i have never see anythiong that backs up that statement....i dont even find anything about him being a champion of any sorts....he is really funny in th fact that he bull dogs others and when he is called out he chooses to get all quiet......it makes me sick that people like him that have so much to offer insist on trying to impress others with their own fantasies......ill be honest .....i think my surviving cancer is a much greater accomplishment that alot of the crap we hear on here .....i only share my last 4 years with people to educate them on what i have learned......never try to force it down there throats......pool is such a great sport and has really been good to me during my illness....why do some people try to drive others away with there assnine attitudes and comments.....i will say there are great people on here and they play also.....two great people are sarah rousey, and don purdman......don has helped me in so many way that i cant even begin to tell you ....and sarah is such a great caring young lady......if people would only take the time to look they would see the greatness in all.....we should not be made to feel inferior by others ....and you people know who you are........sorry if i got off subject.....

good players here are not necessarily champions and they include...bruce berong,my best friend( william brantley)....and we have some great players also....monica webb, helena thornfeldt, johnny archer just to scratch the surface

my favorites as far as good players go are charlie brown from kentucky, gary abood from shreveport, james walden from oklahome, and shannaon bryant from the carolinas...

thanks for listening to me ramble on....lol......juston coleman
