I was minding my own business when I recieved a call that I had to get right down to Baltimore to mediate a big argument between these 3 guys.....

They were discussing the idea of getting out of the cue business and forming a new company, that would produce SHOWER CURTAIN RINGS. The argument was about who was going to be president of the new company. After 12 hours, I gave up and left them all. I dont know what happened after that.

Just in case your wondering who are those guys, hanging out with TIKKLER.
Its Mike Cochran, Tony Scianella and Dennis Searing

Where was Tim??????????

I bet that was one of the best days you have had in all of 2008.

I did stop at Timmys shop, but he was home...a bit under the weather. I hope he feels better real soon.

And yes it was a great time hanging out with those three and Donny as well. It doesnt get much more fun than that.

I also like...

I also like the lever action rifle my first guess a 30-30 (second .44) hanging in the back ground...just in case there are any complainers that want to stop in!

And then in the other pic there are some other rifles on the wall too.

LOL!

Good for them. Poor guys, they'll never be able to make anything building cues. :D

EVERYONE needs shower curtain rings.

That's some fine company you keep Mr. Tikkler. Hey, did you pick up a cue from each of them while you were there just to commemorate the event?

I heard that Tony is a wonderful host and it was a great weekend of sharing thoughts together. These guys are all great cuebuilders of this era but also very good people. I hope Timmy gets well soon. Merry Christmas to all! Bob Corcoran
p.s. The shower curtain rings wouldn't be cheap!

looking forward to some interesting anecdotes ..... you have my email address ;)

hey

While I was there....I did get to look at a cue that Tony is working on right now. It is for me and its incredible. It should be done sometime around Xmas, so it gonna make a great present... from me to me...LOL

I also picked up a parabolic playing cue for my son. Tony doesnt make these cues to order. They play like you wouldnt believe....ask Kam.

I will post some pics of it in a day or two
Thanks
Steve

what does a Parabolic playing cue consist of? is the parabolic in the shaft or butt? I am interested to find out more.
Genius pics that is some heavy hitters, a serious think tank session must of gone on while you were there.

Cool Pics

I talked to Dennis last week and he was very excited about this trip. I cant wait to see the outcomes of the objective of this meeting of some of the finest minds in the cue building business.

Cheers.
