Who can customize my case?!

i have a very nice highly tooled 2X4 instroke that i want to customize with only one thing, my name. i just want my name on the top of the lid and on the back of the case. Who out there can do this for me?!
 
If you have decent freehand writting skills, or know of someone who does, you can personalize (at least the top of the lid) with any of the wood burning tools. Leather burns pretty easily with one of thos electric pens and it doesn't look too bad. If you keep the lettering size to 1/2" or so, it looks pretty good and is not too difficult. Practice on a spare piece of leather first though, until you're satisfied that you won't burn up your case.

You'll be better off usinf a leather tooler for the back side though. You're probably talkinf 2" lettering and that's just too big for the burn technique.

Just a thought...that's the way I did mine and I've had some compliments about it.

Call one of the many Maryland cue makers or even Charlie's Pro Shop and ask. They can probably recommend someone.

Or maybe even send a PM to one the case/cue makers who are members of AZ and ask if they can recommend someone.

If so give me a couple of day's I can't remember off hand the guy's name but he's out of Chicago if I'm not mistaken. I had mine done at the Super Billiards Expo earlier this year.

Was it guy who does art work for Castillo Leather? Skinny quiet Hispanic guy who does good work on leather. They're out of Chicago area and go to the Expo and Vegas events.

The lettering on Black Cat's case looks like it is burnt (branded) into the leather. That is similar to what I did, but his work is much nicer. You can see he has a lot of practice and is very skillful. Mine is just single stroked letters. I think you get the idea of what can be 'branded' into leather.

BTW, nice case and custom lettering Black Cat.
