if there is warranty there will not be after you turn it down.
Anyone with a lathe can turns the shaft down.
its not that hard to turn down, Its whats going to happen to it after you turn it down.
It might fall apart.

Personally i would not turn a predator down any....voids the warranty and modifies the taper...
12.00mm is .472". The hole in the end of the shaft is .250".
.472" - .250" = .222"
Divide that in half to get the tenon/ferrule thickness gives you .111"
Split that in half you get a tenon wall that is .0555" thick and a ferrule wall that is .0555" thick.
Not enough. Even if the ferrule wall thickness might be thick enough the tenon is not.
send it me and it will be straighter than when I get it. I have 4 tapers and you can see them on www.babysproshop.com.
No one is going to "TURN" this shaft, but it can be resized pretty easily. I have taken predators to 11mm before, though I don't do mail order repairs.

to turn down 314-2 shafts has always a bit of suicidal tendencies.
not worth the risc.
Anyway- from 11.75 to 12mm a really good cuemaker will make you a regular shaft with a very low deflection-but that s just my humble opinion ^^
