this might be a dumb question

if the photos are showing the correct colors, i believe the rings and butt cap are black, so why the brown bumper, would not black bumper be a bit more color correct?
anyway it is a beautiful cue

I agree with you on the color choice. But on this cue they were making a copy of an old school design and the old school cues used brown Ku-Bumpers. So they were probably just trying to duplicate the original design look. If they would not have put the modern style square nose on the end of the pin they would have succeeded.
