who has a good supplier for sandpaper

Anyone got a good source of sandpaper at good prices

20 years ago my dad had a supplier for sandpaper for his woodshop

we paid something like 4 dollars a gross yeah .. really 144 sheets of sandpaper for 4 bucks strait from the factory but now they wont sell to an end user and our supply is gone

anyone got any hookups like this ???

Chris would you wanna see what they would work out with you since you wouldnt have to be the end user?

Looking for 3m wet/dry or??? Would help if you were specific. I have a Klngspor guy just up the road where I buy that product.

30 for 50 sheets I think.
 
Hmmm that's a lot of sandpaper

You can saw the logs to build that ark you know, no need to sand them to size!

If you contact some of the dealers on eBay they may sell you what you need. I normally buy 500 sheets at a time my self because they give me a better discount.

Anyway, I have not found cheaper prices anywhere for quality sand paper.

I would get a sampler on some of no name cheap sand paper before I invested in a large quantity of it. I have tried some and found that the grit actually falls off of some of it and ends up in the finish.

Be careful and stick with a good name. 3M, Norton..you will pay about $1 a sheet... the stuff sold by onlineindustrialsupply.com is very good and cheaper. I mostly use that.

Aluminum oxide seems to last a little longer that silicon carbide. You can also get a no load paper that stays cleaner but you shouldn't use it for water borne finishes or you will get fish eyes.
