Thanks Jay,I will buy you a Coke and bag of peanuts at DCC next year if you arent fortunate enough to come to the annual Spring Fling Tournament at Southern Billiards in beautiful downtown Starkville,Mississippi.Even if you cant play in the tournament its worth the drive just for the beauty of the South in the Springtime and the hospitality extended by the Gilmer family and the regulars at Southern.Mike S.

It's weird. Why do people think Hopkins doesn't follow-through or come through the ball? I think he follows through better than most people who ever lived. Just because his backstroke is ultra short doesn't mean he doesn't come through the ball. The last time I played him, he ran 150-out on me. There hasn't been anyone alive who has ever poked at balls and ran 150-out. Just a friendly observation, in defense of a living legend. :D

You're wrong. Johnny Ervolino also poked at balls and ran lots of balls. His poke wasn't quite as bad as Hopkins', but close.
