Who is coming to the Gem City 10 Ball Classic / Southern Cue and Case Show?

Maybe, but, sitting at home minding my own business the other night and BOING, beginning plans to attend the the US Open. My wife has a friend not far from Marietta, so it's possible. Would like to go, have to see how things work out. The US Open trip came out of the blue, courtesy of an old friend of the family.

I sighned up last night sounds like fun. If anyone else is going down from Charlotte let me know I could use a ride...704-624-0647

Joey,

Officially Paid entrants as of last Saturday was 29 players. Unofficial put me on the list, I am coming, about 142. Checks are actually coming in daily. Kim said that three came in on Monday. I am sure we should start to see an influx of entries. Pool players like to wait till the last minute.

Rik

Hey, I think 29 at this time, is great. There were 46 at this weekend's Seminol Pro Tour. I wouldn't be suprised if we had similar numbers.

Joey,

Kim said today the number is actually 40 paid.

Rik

I heard this morning that the number of paid entries is already up to 48.

This ought to be fun. It sounds like a lot of players will be there.

I just hope some amateurs like myself show up to contribute to the cause, just so I won't feel like the Lone Ranger.

I will be there but the only cause I'm contributing to is the alcohol fund, and maybe some gambling, lol.

Save some of that alcohol fund money for a victory drink with me. We'll celebrate somebody's victory.

Looking forward to getting some pool tips from Neil Fuji-Whopper.

Maybe Johnny Archer will show me his "secret" aiming system. :D

Earl Strickland confirmed tonight that he would be playing in the Gem City Classic. I truly hope we see the Earl of yesteryear.

Just spoke to new AZ Billiards member, Jim Jennings and he will be there.

I was wondering if anyone had an update on the number of PAID entries?????

I'm flying in on Friday the 10th.

I played in a local tournament yesterday and I played so badly the first match, if I wasn't as stubborn as a mule, I would avoid the chance of embarassing myself in this tournament. :p
