Who is left in the 9 Ball at Derby City?

Donny broke dry and left up a easy 1 ball. Melling missed it and got safe.

He's cold. Donny has him seated for a while.

Filler just beat josh 9-4.

I really like josh Roberts as a player and always root for him! Lol mark Wilson said on multiple occasions that “both” players were 20. Josh is closer to 50 than 20 lol I believe he’s 38/39. He does look young tho and to me really resembles PHIL Ivey especially with the hat tilted all the way up.

But mainly about josh Roberts I noticed he had a glove on his right hand n I thought I don’t remember him being left handed then sure enough he started playing and is def right handed and hand the glove def on his right hand in other words not for bridging but for holding the cue. What’s up with that?
Josh isn’t 20, but he isn’t that old either.

I heard him say that too and thought I must have misheard him. Josh is in his mid 30's!

Looks like Chinakhov and Orcullo both have one loss. Does anyone know who beat Dennis?

Are there any undefeated players left?

He ran out an open rack to make it 4-4 and then broke and ran four more racks to make it 8-4 before Josh came back to the table.

It was 4-4 when Roberts missed that kick on the 1. Filler may have run out that rack and three more to make it 8-4, but he didn't run five racks.

I think it happened when Filler was down 4-3. Let's bet $10 and see who's right.

Mark Wilson says SVB, Melling, Chinakhov, Orcullo, and Mika are still left in the 9-ball. Is Mills still in? Anyone else? Will Shaw post his picture of Shane's rack so I can make it my wallpaper?

Wowser!!!

Are any of these matches ending up on You Tube? I hope so. So Shaw actually spread the balls by hand after taking a picture of the rack? Was he behind when he did it.

He did not complain at the U.S. Open 9 Ball when the ref re racked for him and did not do it for Ko. He did complain and quit and tossed a ball off of the table when the ref ruled in Strickland's favor in their game a year or so ago.

Did he have an issue after celebrating Melling's birthday with him a year or so ago and was accused of groping some other guy? Did he over sleep and miss a match at the same tournament?

When do these tournament directors step in and tell some one their behavior is not acceptable or allowed and penalize them by showing them the door, baring them for a year or two or finning them? At least a penalty for "un-sportsmanship behavior".

Or is pool in such a sorry state of affairs that professional tournament directors tolerate poor behavior as long as it is from a good shooter?

The big and obvious difference between Shane and Shaw is self control, mental attitude. Some have it and develop it with unseen inner strength, discipline and mental toughness. That is what Shane has proven he has.

The other guy is not in the same category in those areas.
