Ok guys, we always have these who is the best player threads, but i thought we could try something different. Who is the BEST player when just goofing around, practicing, playing for nothing, etc...

My vote goes to Corey Deuel. I watched him in Vegas just screwing around on a table, and he could pull some INCREDIBLE shots with great consistency. And from what i hear, he doesnt have too much problem repeating that shot from the 2003 Mosconi Cup, which is probably one of the most skillful and difficult shots i have ever seen.

I'd go with Morro Paez. He'd do masse' shots that would just make you drop your jaw.

I agree with Corey D., but I also really enjoyed watching TK from FLA do his flashy 15 ball juggling on the pool table. That was quite fun to watch.

Morro is a great choice. When he's just goofing off over the green felt, he does some really incredible things.

Did anyone watch his warmup for the trick shot competition held during the 1998 BCA Open? He did a lot of fiddling and experimenting, and it was absolutely breathtaking!

Tommy Kennedy? I've seen a bunch of guys do that 15 ball juggling thing, its all just timing and rhythym. I can't do it, but i imagine if you could stay calm and relaxed, it would be a hell of alot easier. Kinda like playing the net in tennis.

It's been posted several times, but George Breedlove will do some one-handed wing shots (behind the back, between the legs) that will blow you away. I've never seen any of the trick shot stars attempt anything even close to this level of difficulty. His Flamethrower power shots/jump shots are pretty incredible.

Geez, I dunno, but watching Francisco Bustamente just throw out all 15 balls and run three straight racks of rotation at Tacony Billiards was pretty memorable for me!

Are you referring to the jump/masse he played against Nick van den Berg after pushing out? Yeah, that was an amazing shot. To execute that shot in match conditions was as ballsy as it gets.

Wow! That would be memorable for just about anyone who knows anything about the difficulty involved.

I know "The Champ"

We have a local One Pocket player here in St. Louis nicknamed "CLC" that might just beat Efren for $0.00. Lou moves like a ghost & shoots like a cannon in tournaments or for $0.00.
He is well aware of his capabilities and deficiencies and has given himself that nickname that applies to him whenever he plays for $.
In his own words - "He Folds Like A "C"heep "L"awn "C"hair.

He beat me like I wasn't even there. FOR $0.00

He's got my vote!
