Here is a custom cue we have at the pool room that is going up for sale. Before we post it on the website or Az I wanted to see if any of you know who the builder of this cue is.

I'm going to guess Dennis Searing....I have seen him use those inlays before.

inlays and points look like some of andy gilberts work, same inlays as my gilbert but the butt and joint looks like arial carmelli's work.did he do some work on this cue?

i would have originally guessed Gilbert but looking at it again the gap between the bottom of the points is to close i think to be one of his splices. the inlays are similar to some done by Gilbert, Searing,Black Boar and others and the rest of the cue is similar to many makers. i guess we'll find out soon.

Good guesses

I thought that most would think it was a Searing but it is not. It is not a Gilbert,PDF,Black Boar,Dayton or Morris. I would have thought you guys would have got this one by now. Will post builder later tonight. Thanks

more pictures of the Harry Richards

Well the cat is out of the bag so here are some more pictures of the cue. look for it in the wanted/for sale section soon. Thanks to all

I would have guessed Searing too, nice job Dennis!
It is not a Searing cue it was made by another Florida builder name Harry Richards

I own 3 of Harry's cues And a couple of Searings, I've known Harry for years for all of the tournments he works-- They both hit the same probably because they worked together for a little while a couple of years ago when Dennis' shop was in Hollywood Fl

Funny:confused: does he copy searing cues

Harry is a good friend of mine, Harry used to come down to my shop a few days a week, and helped me do the huge amount of repairs I used to do for the league players in the area. I also helped him do a lot of inlay work in is own cues. Harry is a good guy, and would do anything I could for Him. The reason I said it could be funny, is because I recognized the inlays, but didn't recognize the ring work. It could have been just a little embarrassing if I was wrong, and was one of mine. The ring work is not my style, but I would find it hard to believe there is a cue maker out there that's been making cues for any length of time, that hasn't seen at least one cue He built a long time ago, and thought what was I thinking, at least regarding a design. A dedicated cue maker is always going to get better, and style will evolve. So I believe this would be common feeling. For me I hope the improving never ends.
