Well, Im not a cuemaker, but I really liked playing with a Tad BEM cue. I played with that cue for a couple of years.
And for a cue flipper like me....that was a long time!
I sold a Rick Howard cue that I got directly from Rick, it had the most birdeyes I have EVER seen in a cue, and it had great shafts. While I would have a tough time saying it was "no show and all go" , it was a great playing cue. I cant remember who I sold it to, but if was someone on AZ it was amazing.
