A couple of folks in the linked thread said he makes a great cue at a reasonable price. Then there was a link to one for sale for $2900.

How much do the less reasonable cues go for?

Not saying it's not worth it but geez what tax bracket are these guys in?

joe has made some cues that are over 2k but the bulk of his cues are between $600-$1200 dollars. there are many examples of his cues here on the forum. here is one of several i have for sale:
