I would suggest you give Paul Allers a call...360-675-1408. His email is: pcallers@comcast.net
Paul is known for his cues playability in local circles...and everyone that I have recommended one to, has been very happy with it. His butts are narrow...about as narrow as I have played with. I actually miss my Allers alot, but hope to get another someday.
His specialty is 60" cues, but he will do a standard length, you only need to ask. Some of the most reasonable pricing out there....seriously. Some of the cleanest butterflies I have seen...this style of 'pete' is my fav, I think:

Roger Pettit from Washington and Al Romero from Hard Times make unbelievable sneaky petes. If you can find them they are golden. The price range is $275-$550 depending on condition and number of shafts.
I live in WA and Mr Pettit is not the easiest guy on the planet to track down...LoL. I know he's over on the Eastside somewhere...Renton? Are his cues thin handled also?
Paul hails from Whidbey Island...last I heard and saw, Jeff Jimenez was playing with an Allers BR PJ that Paul made for him.

Rich Geiler plays pretty sporty with one of Roger's sneaky Petes.
I use an old Canadian Dufferin sneaky sneaky. Plays like a one-piece...

Roger makes a thin handle cue, and his shaft taper is very similer to Kersenbrock. Nice stiff solid hit. I have a Pettit cue that I use as my daily player. He works at Harvey's in Renton, last I heard, and he builds cues from his home in West Seattle. PM me for his phone number. He can be tough to get a hold of, I have had the best luck in going down to Harvey's on the weekends.

I can heartily recommend Bob Thompson cues, as they fit the bill you describe nicely as well. I bought the top cue from this pic from AZB'er rugerfan (who can answer more questions about Thompson cues) back in the summer and have been loving it ever since:
These cues have a slimmer butt profile and the shaft taper is unique to Thompson - it a modified version of the pro taper that stays thinner longer. Another excellent aspect of Thompson cues is that the weight is located in the forearm of the cues, so the cues remain better balanced. Thompson is a master woodworker that specializes in custom accustic guitars, but he has been producing limited numbers of cues for about 30 years. He also makes some kick-a$$ long bows.
His cues are underrated and under the radar to an extent, therefore you can get some serious value for your $. I paid only $250 for the top cue above and consider it money well spent. I'll keep this one for a lifetime.
Not to sound like an informercial or anything, but Thompson has produced some truely unique cues that rival any of the high end stuff out there, imo. Check these out:

Not sure of how far North of the Emerald City you are but.... I recently purchased an Ariel Carmeli Fancy Pete to keep in Vegas. Thin handle. Perfect balance (for me). Two shafts. Triangle tips. Mine is Becote / BEM. Superior Cues in California was the dealer. Martin Bick was great to work with. First rate quality construction. JMHO.

Jacoby cues, all have a thin handle and they make a real nice pete that won't break the bank.
