Who Plays Fastest

Luc, definitely. But it simply has to do with how fast he walks around the table.

Of course Tony has moments where he is faster as he gets into a rythm and begins one stroking everything. But on average I would say Luc Salvas is moves around the table faster.

I am the fastest one pocket player on the planet Earth.I will challenge anybody including Effren Reyes.I can`t travel anymore and I am old and feeble. If somebody want to test me out I am available to play race to four with 4 seconds shot clock .contact me only if u are serious.Any takers?

on average i would say drago is slightly faster. salvas seems to stop and think a bit more (and rightly so) sometimes whereas drago makes his decisions quicker. on a simple open rack they're about the same - if anything give drago the edge because he only takes one warm up stroke if that!

but salvas's scurrying round the table at warp speed is entertaining in itself!

That would be great to watch. Someone find a pro and take him up on this bet, and videotape it! Pretty please??:D

I have watched

both Tony and Luc play, and Machine Gun Lou for that matter, and we have a local guy that is faster than any of them and a very good player besides, and yes, he is a lefty.

Luc plays slightly slower on TV than at other tournaments. I watched him at a tournament in Laval a few months ago, and I thought he had sped up his game, but the guys said this is his normal speed.

IN 2 weeks there will be a speed pool tournament filmed for ESPN in Vegas.

Luc Savas, Jason Kane, Jeanete Lee and Dave Pearson- $50K to the winner. Pearson is supposed to be the odds on favorite with JK next.

Warning: some people say that they become dizzy watching me play speed (Fast) one pocket. Better, my challeger takes some dizziness preventing medicine before he/she plays me.
PS :You can bring any pro u wish including Effren Reyes and I do NOT need NO handicap and and I will play any pro even game:cool: :D

Saurus,
Without giving anything specific away; you do know that our own Vagabond has played on the pro tour don't you (when there was a pro tour on which to play)???

At the risk of being branded a shade 'biased' or even 'nepotismic' (if that's a word) could I also suggest Scotland's Jayson Shaw as a serious contender to this debate.

I heard that, Tony Drago commented (during a practice match with Jayson), "That's the fastest first-to-three sets match I've played." "If the table's on time, I'm happy to play against this guy every day of the week!"

Aye, ok then... I made a wee bit of that up, mainly the dialogue, but Jayson & Tony did practice together for a while in London and there was considerable comment, from the onlookers, about the speed and accuracy of each player.
