Who the f**k is Ko Pin-Yi?

Nice, good pic, looks like you got your image uploading straightened out.

He let Jayson get 2 more racks before closing it out, though honestly both made mistakes.
It's usually said a lot of guys can run out the same as shane, but few break like him.
These asian guys are breaking like shane but not running out like him.

Jin-hu seemed to leave himself some really steep angles getting shape on balls stuck to the short rail.
He handled the cut every time though. Might just be adjusting to the balls and table, I was surprised
when he had BIH with 3 balls left, he left himself 5 feet away from the 9.

Ko pin played in Pro Event at BCA in Riviera around 3 years ago. Darren Appleton beat him. Darren beat him again in one of the International events in one of the Far East countries. He is NOT a new kid on the Block.

It seems Ko pin`s younger brother will be playing today at 3pm. I did not see him play before. somebody told me that he ran 8 Racks on somebody yesterday.

Nah, the little bro Pin-Chung is already out of the tourney but he did string an 8 rack. Ko Pin Yi will play Lee Van today at 3.

Not at all. You misunderstood me...I just wanted to make sure anybody knows the speed Ko can play because obviously like talked about in some other threads many US players do not know those asian kids...

there is a lot in America we dont know,

the flaw with America is we think we really know whats going on, when the truth is we are in general very uninformed, we aint stupid we just dont have the amount of information made available to us as you do in europe, This extends to politics, social and cultural matters, current news topics etc.

I had no idea how "in the dark" they keep us here isn the USA until I started spending 2-4 months a year outside america with my eyes open, not on a tour bus in a captive environment .When i go somewhere i stay and try my best to blend in , not take a tour passing thru. My friend came to Munchen with me and was there for 10 days and I dont think he realized he even left america, he noticed the food was different was about it.

Point is Americans have a extraordinarily high opinion of their opinions and are usually uninformed, but you cant tell them that, cause they know they are right.:banghead:

ok back to pool....

Absolutely

For the most part we are arrogant about our US centric thinking

And, while we don't rank number one in a lot of the key measures, the overall package is pretty good.

Being fortunate enough to be able to choose where I live, I'll stick with the "states." At least most of them, there are a few to the north and west I can do without.

Monaco is the overall best place I have ever been outside of the US. It would also be pretty good if I could use the Star Trek transporter to go to Italy, Greece and France to eat my meals

Other than that, I'm good with the US, especially the gentle southern culture

...

You have ignorence and ignorent people in every culture andevery country. The difference between those cultures/countries and USA is Americans get resentful or angry and verbally violent and on rare occasions physically violent when they are corrected.

As much as peoole spend time on az i find it funny that people didnt know he was in last yrs us open 9 ball. He didnt do too well.

 something that i've tried to say for a long time now, it's only when someone makes the spotlight that they jump up, they even do it with the pros. any thing that's hot is what most of these guys know. Yours and FATBOYS statement sums it all up.
