Who used screw on ferrules?

Viking also used a metal screw. But Viking glued theirs on. Paradise and Palmer are the only two that I know of that left them unglued to make the ferrules screw on and off for easy tip changing.

I once had an old Burton Spain with ferrules that were threaded and glued onto 5/16 brass screws. Think that practice was pretty common throughout the 60s, 70s, and 80s with certain makers. Have heard that Hercek even did some like that on his early cues in the 90s (??).

Both Mayer and Ferdunka have done screw on ferrules. But then again, they are from the Palmer / Paradise tree.

Here is an Adam cue that I owned, it had screw on ferrules, and a joint that I have never seen since.
