Who want's to play Shaw today?

Anybody? 9 ball on a 9'. I GOT SHAW!
JASON

on a side note......who would you put up against Donny Mills in a race to 100?

Tell him to go to the Philippines to play those young guns over there. They will be jumping on top of each other to get to him first. These guys don't know the meaning of the word "fear" when it comes to pool. They will eat Donnie Mills alive over there.

Or Chezka might want to give him a chance to get even.

Do you really think Earl would have beat Shane if they played on a Diamond 10ft....instead of that joke of a converted snooker table? What happened to Earl the 2 time he DID play Shane a race to a 100 on a Diamond 9ft?

Earl could have beat him on Diamond 10 footer. Earl plays great on a 10 footer- he also beat Shane in tournaments and match ups on other 10 footers- in one of Jay Helfert's big foot tournaments and a match up at Steinway when they still had the 10 footer.

Also, they were playing on the same table. Earl deserves credit for adapting to that table rapidly. It's not like it was his home table. He was firing in long shots down the rail that Shane was missing on a frequent basis. Earl played great in that match.

So what you're saying is Dennis needs a spot to play Shane, because playing even up with 4 1/2" pockets....Dennis, the straightest shooter in the world....can't win.....ok, I understand:rolleyes:

PS, why don't Dennis just work on his break like Shane does....instead of asking to play with a spot?

What I'm saying is that the main thing separating Shane from Dennis is the break. When they play at Hard Times with some of the toughest pockets in the world, Dennis makes it look like it is no big deal.

This is the type of table I'm talking about

He still runs out routinely. I'm not the only one who thinks he is the straightest shooter- he beat Ko Pin Yi in a race to 100 on a tight table at Steinway.

Also, is it really a spot to ask to play on a tighter table? It would seem to be the reverse.

Did I mention he can break any way he wants.

Earl's sharking that match was obscene, but aside from that he also did play like a real freak of nature. Back then Shane wasn't playing with a longer cue also and you could tell he had to take a lot of awkward, uncomfortable stretch shots. Since then he's more in tune with playing on a 10 ft, whether it be a Diamond or otherwise.

Sorry, but I don't call it a loss for Shane to play anyone with one hand tied behind his back and his feet tied together. I guess you missed his interview before he played in Russia.....you missed his shocked look when he was asked about the break rules....of which he had no clue about? How do you think it would have turned out if there were no special rules? How do you think it would have turned out if KO played a race to 100 instead of a single race to 25?

I'd love to see him cross the pond and play KO and Wu on thier home turf and see how that works out for him

I'm soooo confused???? A pool table is a pool table, maybe its just me, but I've never cared WHERE the table is.

I've played all over the country, and they all play the same

Maybe I'm not a little sensitive flower like some of you
