Hey guys n girls.... if you were to commission a new cue based solely on playability, not aesthetics or collectability, who should it be and why? Must be a current maker, money no object (so, no "best hit for the money" type responses please. Would also be THEIR shafts, not changing their specs for taper, etc...
Mine would probably be James White, big pin, ivory joint and ferrules.

Yours?

Thats a tough question. There are so many more cuemakers id like to try but i know id want them all to be big pin, ivory joint & ferrules.

Don't we do this question every four months?

Probably Teddy Harris. Or Andy Gilbert. Or Ryan Theewen.

Or Mike Lambros, Ned Morris, Rick Howard, Bob Frey, Jeff Olney, Pete Ohman, Bobby Hunter, ...

asking old questions often yields new solutions.

No need for a negative post. Simply don't respond if it bothers you. Some of us don't get on here every day or are new.

Worst post of the day. ;)

Duplicate threads are unnecessary and serve to defeat the benefit of discussion. Ya get the info scattered all over the place, ya know?

You will notice there was nothing negative in my post. I actually answered you and gave insight that it's a repeated question.

I didnt call you names, point to a Search function, or otherwise said anything negative about posters, responses, your post count or sign in date.

I did give you some of the most common responses to similar question from the past.

You're welcome.

Guido Orlandi... maker of Magic Wands. There truly is a difference in the cues that he makes.
