Hey! I'm new here been lurking for a few months and decided to register. I quit shooting pool for 20 years and my 18 year old son got me back into it a year ago. We'll be there firday saturday and sunday. I hope to meet a lot of AzBers there!

the wife and I will be there sunday for sure and maybe friday or saturday..flying in from jersey, so i have to do some other things during the stay...Joe and pat
 
So is this so uneventifull an ocasion that only two people are going? I know that i'm new to the list and probably unworthy of a reply but I would realy like to know if there is any people that will be there that i could hookl up with that could show me the ropes(;ie;Which matches to watch and where the best side games were to be found). Thanks !!

Hi there,

My husband and I will be there as well as Shawn Putnam, Keith McCready, Grady Mathews, Gabe Owen, Colin Colenso and 8Ball Bernie, who are all on the IPT and AZBers. I might have forgotten some. There were a couple of other threads in this section where you can find others who will be there.

I'll be there with my gal. We've already planned the road trip to Orlando. VIP section seats and all. I was hoping to get some autographs of alot of the players. Anybody know which cue ball works best with a sharpie pen?

I'm not sure what kind of cueball, but it ought to be a big one! Even 43 names on 1 cueball is going to be a squeeze. You might want to buy a cheapie case or Tshirt and have it autographed.

I'll be there. Hopefully they will have changed my GA tickets to VIP tickets. Seems to be some problem in confirming my VIP tickets. I think my phone bills to Illinois will cost more than my tickets.

Perhaps they will have a program for sale. That would be ideal for autographs.

The standard cue balls that Muellers sells work fine.

I watched Shawn play Hohmann on TV the other day and at the end when Thorsten extended his hand to Shawn it was ignored by Shawn. What was that all about? But then Shawn probably played the worst game of his life during that match and missed a lot of easy (for the pros) shots. And he was eliminated from winning the $25,000. He probably was not too happy with his performance.

The home page of AZB shows Earl in a blue buttoned long sleeve shirt. He looks good. It appears that Earl will have no problem with the dress code.
Nice smile too. Dress the guy up and he might become a chick magnet. How depressing would that be to all the Earl haters out there. LOL.

I'm there. Wednesday thru Sunday. With any luck, I'll be hanging with Chopstick and gabesmom and Cornerman and jjinfla and rackmsuckr in the VIP section. :) Gotta hook up with TX Poolnut and bobroberts as well. Gonna be quite a party!
