We are in search of a good wood supplier. We have one now , but he doesn't carry ALL the wood we like to use. Any have or know someone to get quality kiln dried wood from at a reasonable price?
These are the woods I would like to get and get prices on -

Tiger Maple
Boke Masserbirch
Mad ebony
Cocobola
Birdseye
Curly
Gabon Ebony
Chitum
Holly
Purple Heart
Red Heart
All in these sizes

2x2x18 or 2x2x24
1.5x1.5x18

Also looking for maple handle wood - 2x2x18

Would also inquire about inlay wood of all the above in 1/4 thickness
Please pm me with prices and availability.

Thanx in advance for any and all help that is given!
Thanx again,
Jim

For Mexican Cocobolo and other Latin American hardwoods try www.anexotichardwood.com. They are one of the largest and finest hardwood sources on the West Coast. Cuemakers gladly journey from all over California and neighboring states to hand select at Tropical Exotic Hardwoods of Latin America in Carlsbad, CA. That's my holiday contribution to the forum!

I already own all the good quality kiln dried wood and even a little air dried so there is no since in even looking anymore.
If you do a google for exotic woods you'll find more than you will ever need or use.
The places the previous people mentioned are a good place to start also.

If you find any kiln dried BLACK ebony though let me know, will you?
I missed the boat when Gilmer had all that Madagascar stuff a few years back. That was some of the blackest, black ebony I have ever seen or probably ever will.

Thanx guys , all was helpful. Really appreciate the help. Our supplier is good , but only with certain woods.
Plus Dave , sure will let you know if I find some jet black ebony as requested. Like you , missed out on a chance for some real black Gaboon here a while back , my foot still sore from kicking myself on that one too.
Thanx again guys , always looking out for the awesome deals!
