Who's the best "Southpaw" in the game?

Shannon Daulton, Rodney Morris? While I'm primarily "right" handed, I play billiards Lefty. Right eye dominate. And I can't play billiards nearly as well right handed? Darts is another passion of mine. Play with either hand equally as well, it's called cross handed, or Cross-dominance. I'd be hard pressed to say which hand I've hit more Ton Eighties with. Not TRULY ambidextrous. Can do some things with either hand, not "everything".

I really like watching the Lefty's play. It's a different "position" game. Leave yourself where you don't have to stretch or use the mechanical bridge.

Mike Segal was the best all around lefty ever in my opinion. Miz wasn`t bad either. I realize you are talking about current ability however.

Interesting question and I actually never thought about the position play.

Isn't Dennis Hatch a left-handed player? He is in this picture.

Another interesting question would be what player can play right- and left-handed proficiently. ;)

Ambidextrous is a mighty big word to use on the forums lol.
All around I like Daulton. He is a beast for the cash and plays ALL games well. Not just rotation or 8 ball

There's a guy here in Lansing (MI) that has run 150 in straight pool with BOTH hands.

Dave Daya is probably the best left-handed 14.1 player right now. He placed 5th in last year's World Championships and made it through both the Round Robin and Double Elimination bracket undefeated. He was the last undefeated player left in the tournament. His only defeat of the tournament (to Mika Immonen) sent him home in 5th place.
